مَقَثَّةٌ Multitude: like مَفَثَّةٌ. One says, فُلَانٌ ذُو مَقَثَّةٍ Such a one has a multitude, or large number [of adherents or the like]. And مَا أَكْثَرَ مَقَثَّتَهُمْ [How numerous is their multitude!].
