مِقْيَاسٌ
A measure, or thing with which anything is measured; syn. مِقْدَارٌ: pl. مَقَايِيسُ. You say, قَاسَهُ بِٱلْمِقْيَاسِ [He measured it with the measuring-instrument]. And قَصُرَ مِقْيَاسُكَ فِى مِقْيَاسِى
