مَلِىْءٌ , also written and pronounced مَلِىٌّ, A rich, wealthy, opulent, man: or trusty, or honest: or trusty, or honest, and rich: or a rich man, or one not literally rich, who is honest, and pays his debts well, without giving trouble to his creditor: or an able, rich, man: [a solvent man:] pl. مِلَآءٌ and أَمْلِئَآءُ and مُلَأٓءُ.
2 Also مُلَأٓءُ Chiefs: so called because rich in needful things.
