Full Definition

نَائِرٌ : see نَيِّرٌ.
2 Apparent or plainly apparent. conspicuous, manifest, or evident; as also مُنِيرٌ .
3 فِتْنَةٌ نَائِرَةٌ Sedition, or discord, or the like, happening and spreading.
4 And نَائِرَةٌ alone, Sedition, or discord, or the like: or sedition, or discord, or the like, happening: and rancour, malevolence, or spite. enmity, or hostility, and violent hatred. See also نَارٌ. You say, سَعَيْتُ فِى إِطْفَآءِ النَّائِرَةِ I laboured in stilling the sedition, or discord, or the like. And بَيْنَهُمْ نَائِرَةٌ Between them is enmity, or hatred, and violent hatred.
