Full Definition

نَاهِضَةُ A man's people, or the sons of his father or ancestor, who rise for him, or with him. or with whom he rises, in a case that grieves him, or who are angry for him, or who are angry by reason of his anger, and rise to aid him: and his people, or servants, or those, who undertake, or manage, his affairs: or his aiders, or assistants. (A, in art. ظهر) You say, مَا لِفُلَانِ نَاهِضَةٌ Such a one has not any people, or servants, who undertake, or manage, his affairs.
