Full Definition

نَتَشَI , Present.T ـِ Verbal.Noun نَتْشٌ, He extracted; or drew, or pulled, out, or forth; a thing, or a thorn, and the like, and hair, with the مِنْتَاش: he plucked out hair or the like.
2 He plucked, or pulled, flesh, and the like, by pinching it with his fingers, and by taking hold upon it with his teeth.
3 نَتَشَ الجَرَادُ الأَرْضَ, Present.T and Verbal.Noun as above, The locusts ate the herbage of the earth.
4 مَا نَتَشْتُ مِنْ فُلَانٍ شَيْئًا I did not obtain, or take, from such a one anything.
5 هُوَيَنْتِشُ لِعِيَالِهِ, Verbal.Noun as above, He gains, or earns, or seeks sustenance, for his family, or house-hold.
6 هُوَ يَنْتِشُ مِنْ كُلِّ عِلْمٍ He takes [or acquires] of every science.
