نَحَّبَII see 1.

def.2 نحّبوا, Verbal.Noun تَنْحِيبٌ, They strove, or exerted themselves, in their work; worked with energy: or they went on, travelled, or journeyed, until they came near to the water: they made a hard journey by night, in order to arrive at the water on the morrow.
2 نَحَّبْنَا سَيْرَنَا We pursued our journey laboriously, or with energy.
3 نحّب السَّفَرُ فُلَانًا The journey harassed such a one, being long.
4 نحّب عَلَى أَمْرٍ, and فِى أَمْرٍ, He applied himself to a thing, or set about it, and adhered to it.
