نَدًى , originally, Rain: (Msb: [but generally it seems to signify dew, absolutely; or day-dew.] See a tropical usage in a verse of El-Kumeyt cited voce رِقْبَةٌ.
2 نَدًى Bounty; liberality: a gift.
3 نَدًى Moisture of the earth; as also نَدَاوَةٌ .
4 نَدًى is generally thus written: not نَدًا.
