Full Definition

نُقَاخٌ Sweet water; that has no saltness; that strikes (يَنْقَخُ) the heart by its coldness: or cold, or cool, and sweet, and clear, water: or sweet water, that breaks [or abates or allays] (يَنْقَحُ, i. e. يَكْسِرُ,) thirst by its coolness, or coldness: or abundant water which a man makes to well forth in a place where was no water.
2 Also, Pure, mere, unadulterated, or genuine.
3 هٰذَا نُقَاخُ العَرَبِيَّةِ This is pure Arabic; or the purest, choicest, best, or most excellent, of Arabic.
4 Also نُقَاخٌ Sleep in health and safety.
