نَهْدَآءُ [fem. of أَنْهَدُ] An elevated sand, like a compact hill, fertile, producing trees: or a tract of ground such as is called نَفْخَآءُ, but more flat and extensive: (L, art. نفخ:) it is used as an epithet; but not the masc. أَنْهَدُ.
2 هُوَ أَنْهَدُ القَوْمِ He is the strongest and hardiest of the people.
