هَرِيتٌ Wide or ample.
2 Wide, or ample, in the sides of the mouth: as also الشِّدْقِ, and هَرِيتُ الشدق, and : and . (TA A wide-mouthed horse; as also . and camel [See an ex. in a verse cited voce رَسَنٌ.]
3 حَيّةٌ هَرِيتُ الشِّدْق. and . A serpent having a wide mouth.
4 أَسْدٌ A lion wide in the sides of the mouth.
5 اجُلٌ A man having a wide mouth.
6 الفَمِ Having a mouth wide in the sides.
7 كِلَابٌ الأَشْدَاقِ Dogs wide in the sides of the mouth. [See an ex., voce عَذَبٌ]
