2 Also, Indian aloes-wood.
3 سَيْفٌ هِنْدِىٌّ, and , [in the CK هِنْدَوَانِىٌّ,] and هُنْدُوَانِىٌّ, A sword made in the country of الهِنْد, [or India,] and well fabricated: or, made of the iron of that country: as also مُهَنَّدٌ , in the latter sense, and in the former: so termed in relation to the people called الهِنْد: and سَيْفٌ مُهَنَّدٌ a sharpened, or sharp, sword.
