Full Definition

وَجَأَI , Present.T يَوْجَأُ, and sometimes يَجَأُ, Verbal.Noun وَجْءٌ; and توجّأ ; He beat, or struck, or smote, a person with his hand, or with a knife, or the like, on any part.
2 وَجَأَ عُنُقَهُ, Verbal.Noun وَجْءٌ, He beheaded him: syn. ضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ.
3 وَجَأَ Inivit feminam.
4 وَجَأَ التَّيْسَ, Verbal.Noun وَجْءٌ and وِجَآءٌ, He beat the veins of the testicles of the goat between two stones, without extracting the testicles themselves: or he bruised or beat the goat's testicles until they broke, and he became like one gelded. You say also وَجَأَ الكَبْشَ. [See وجَآءٌ.] وُجِئَ He had the operation termed وَجْءٌ performed upon him.
5 He was struck with a knife.
6 وَجَأَ He bruised, or pounded, dates until they cohered. Hence وَجِيْئَةٌ, q. v.
