Full Definition

وحّدهُII , (Verbal.Noun تَوْحِيدٌ, K,) He made it one; or called it one: like as one says ثَنَاهُ, and ثَلَّثَهُ: as also أَحَّدَهُ. Similar verbs are formed from the other nouns significant of numbers, to عَشَرَةٌ.
2 وحّد لِٱمْرَأَتِهِ, or عِنْدَهَا, He remained one night with his wife: and in like manner the verb is used in relation to any saying or action. (TA, voce سَبَّعَ.)
3 وحّد ٱللّٰهَ, Verbal.Noun تَوْحِيدٌ, He asserted, or declared, God to be one: he asserted, declared, or preferred belief in, the unity of God: as also احّدهُ.
4 التَّوْحِيدُ The belief in God alone; in his unity.
