وَعْثَاءُ Inconvenience, trouble, difficulty, or toil, of travel: or severity of trouble, difficulty, or toil, thereof.
2 Also the like with respect to crimes, sins, or the like: you say, رَكِبَ الوَعْثَاءَ meaning He committed a crime, sin, fault, or act of disobedience.
