وَقَاحُ A man patient in riding. [See ذَنَبٌ.]
2 وَقَاحٌ and وَاقِحٌ A hard solid hoof, and camel's foot, and the back; the former an epithet both masc. and fem.: pl. of the former وُقُحٌ, and وُقَّحٌ. فَرَسٌ وَقَاحٌ A hard and strong horse.
