Full Definition

يَعْفُورٌ The dust-coloured gazelle: or the gazelle, as a general term: as also يُعْفُورٌ: and the [young gazelle such as is called] خِشْف: or the buck-gazelle: and the young one of the wild cow: n. un. with ة: pl. يَعَافِيرُ.
2 Also A light, or an active, ass.
3 And it is said to mean The form of a man, seen from a distance, resembling a يَعْفُور [in one of the senses expl. above].
