def.2 استخلاهُ مَجْلِسَهُ He asked him to leave his sitting-place vacant, or unoccupied, for him.
2 استخلى المَلِكَ He asked the king to have a meeting, or an interview, with him in a vacant place, or a place unoccupied [by others, i. e., in a private place; he asked the king to grant him a private meeting or interview].
