Full Definition

اِسْتَرْوَحَX , said of a branch, It became shaken by the wind: or it inclined from side to side.
2 See also 1, near the beginning of the paragraph; and see اِسْتَرْوَحْتُ إِلَى حَدِيثِهِ, and استراح الى حديثه, in the former part of the same paragraph.
3 Also, and استراح, [which latter is the more common in this sense,] and ارتاح , and sometimes اراح , q. v., [and تروّح , as quasi-pass. of رَوَّحَ عَنْهُ or بِهِ,] said of a hired man, [and of any man,] He found, or experienced, rest, or ease; [was, or became, at rest, or at ease; rested;] مِنْهُ [from him, or it], and بِهِ [by means of it]; from الرَّاحَةُ; quasi-pass. of أَرَحْتُهُ, and of أَرَاحَهُ ٱللّٰهُ.
4 استروح إِلَيْهِ (accord. to the S and K, but in other lexicons استراح, TA) He trusted to, or relied upon, him, or it, and became quiet, or easy, in mind.
