His colour became altered by reason of fear, or the like, as, for instance, disease.
2 [اِسْتَفَعَ He, or it, became swollen, or affected with a tumour; for] اِسْتِفَاعٌ is like تَهَبُّجٌ, with ب before the ج. (TA: [in the CK تَهَيُّج.])
