Full Definition

انجدIV , Verbal.Noun إِنْجَادٌ; and , Present.T ـُ; and , Verbal.Noun مُنَاجَدَةٌ; He aided, or assisted, another: he succoured him.
2 انجدهُ عَلَيْهِ He aided, or assisted, him against him.
3 انجد الدَّعْوَةَ He answered, or complied with, the call, prayer, or invitation. And انجدهُ الدَّعْوَةَ He answered, or complied with, his call, prayer, or invitation.
4 انجد He was, or became, or drew, near to his family, or wife; expl. by قَرُبَ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ.

def.2 انجدت السَّمَآءُ The sky became clear.
2 انجد and تنجّد He, or it, became high, or lofty.
3 غَارَ وَأَنْجَدَ He became famous in the low countries and in the high.
4 انجد, (Verbal.Noun إِنْجَادٌ, L,) He entered upon the country of Nejd: or he came to Nejd, or to high land or country: or he went thither: or he went forth to, or towards, it.
5 أَنْجَدَ مَنْ رَأَى حَضَنَا, a proverb, He enters Nejd who sees Hadan, which is the name of a mountain; i. e., in going up from El-Ghowr, or El-Ghór.
