آجُرٌّ and and آجُورٌ and أَجُورٌ and يَاجُورٌ and and آجَرٌ , or , and [to which is erroneously added in the CK آجِرَةٌ] and [the pls.] and are syn., of Persian origin, [from آگُورْ or آگُرْ,] arabicized, signifying Baked bricks; baked clay, with which one builds: آجُرٌّ and آجُورٌّ and آجُرٌ [&c.] are pls., [or rather coll. gen. ns., except the two forms ending with و and ن,] and their sings. [or rather ns. un.] are with ة, i. e. آجُرَّةٌ &c.
