Full Definition

بَيْدَرٌ a word of the dial. of El-'Irák, (A 'Obeyd in art. ربد in the TA,) A place in which wheat, or grain, is trodden out.
2 It may also mean, tropically, The wheat and straw therein: or rather, as Az says, on the authority of IAar, it signifies [also] reaped grain collected together; or wheat collected together in the place in which it is trodden out; syn. كُدْسٌ, and عَرَمَةٌ: Kr restricts it to wheat.
3 Accord. to the Towsheeh, it is [A place] for [drying] dates. (TA in art. جرن.)
