تحالمVI
He made a show of having
الحِلْم [i. e. forbearance, or clemency, &c.], not having it; and
تحلّم [in like manner] signifies [sometimes] he made a show of
الحِلْم; expl. by أَظْهَرَ الحِلْمَ. (TA in art. فصح.)
