تَنَاْفَرَVI [تنافروا They shunned or avoided one another; regarded one another with aversion. But perhaps this signification is only post-classical.
2 And hence, تنافرت الأَشْيَآءُ The things were incongruous, or discordant, one with another. But perhaps this signification, also, is only postclassical. See also 3.]
