جَرَّارٌ

جَرَّارٌ A man who leads a thousand. (T, end of art. حفز.)
2 جَيْشٌ جَرَّارٌ, and كَتِيبَةٌ جَرَّارَةٌ, An army, and a troop of horse or the like, that marches heavily, by reason of its numbers: or dragging along the apparatus of war: or numerous.
