2 Hence, as being likened to the torrent thus termed, A quick, or swift, بِرْذَون [or hack, &c.]. And An ass; [app. meaning a wild ass, because of his swiftness.] And, accord. to some, A male ostrich: but this is a mistranscription for جَوْرَقٌ, with ق.
