, Verbal.Noun تَحْرِيرٌ, He freed, liberated, or emancipated, a slave. And حرّر رَقَبَةً
He freed a neck [i. e. a slave].
2 Also He set apart a child for the worship of God and the service of the mosque or oratory: or he devoted him to the service of the church as long as he should live, so that he could not relinquish it while he retained his religion.
