رَجَّهُI , Present.T رَجُجَ Verbal.Noun رَجٌّ, He put it in motion, or in a state of commotion or agitation: he put it in a state of convulsion, or violent motion; or made it to shake, quake, or quiver: as also . Hence, in the Kur [lvi-4], إِذَا رُجَّتِ الأَرْضُ رَجًّا When the earth shall be convulsed with violent convulsion. And رَجَّ البَابَ He shook the door violently.
