رَمَقَهُI , Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun رَمْقٌ, He looked at him, or it; as also ↓رَامقهُ: or he glanced lightly at him, or it; looked at him, or it, lightly, from the outer angle of the eye: or he looked long at him, or it; or so رَمَقَهُ بِعَيْنِهِ, Present.T and Verbal.Noun as above: whence, in a trad., فَرَمَقَهُ النَّاسُ بِأَبْصَارهِمْ [And the people looked long at him]: or رَمَقْتُهُ بِبَصَرِى and signify I followed him with my eye, paying attention to him, and watching him: and , Verbal.Noun رِمَاقٌ, he looked at him from the outer angle of the eye with a look of enmity: and رمّقهُ , Verbal.Noun تَرْميقٌ, he looked at him long from the outer angle of the eye with anger or aversion: and رمّق , Verbal.Noun as above, he continued looking; like رنّق.
