سِهْلَةٌ Sea-sand: or sand such as is not fine: or coarse sand, such as is not fine and soft: or a sort of earth like sand, brought by water: or sand of a conduit in which water runs: (S in art. رض:) سِهْلَةُ الزُّجَاجِ is sea-sand that is made an ingredient in the substance of glass: Az says that he had not heard the word سِهْلَة except on the authority of Lth. [And Coarse sand that comes forth from the bladder; what we commonly term gravel.]
