Full Definition

شَدًا A remnant of strength; and a portion, or somewhat, thereof: a dial. var. of شَذًا. (TA. [See شَذَاةٌ, in art. شذو.]) A remnant, or remainder, of anything. A small quantity or number: and so شَدْوٌ , whatever it be, of much or many, whatever the latter be. And The extremity of anything: a dial. var. of شَذًا.
