صَمْصَامٌ , or سَيْفٌ صَمْصَامٌ, and صَمْصَامَةٌ , (S, M, K, [in the CK, erroneously, صِمْصَامَة,]) A sword, or a sharp sword, that will not bend. الصَّمْصَامُ, or , was the name of The sword of 'Amr Ibn-Maadee-Kerib. And some of the Arabs make , thus without tenween, imperfectly decl., to be the name of A particular sword.
