عُوقٌ A man in whom, or with whom, is no good; as also عَوْقٌ ; occurring in the saying of Ru-beh, فِدَاكَ مِنْهُمْ كُلُّ عَوْقٍ أَصْلَدُ [May every one of them in whom, or with whom, is no good, who is niggardly, be thy ransom]: pl. أَعْوَاقٌ.
