غامرIII signify the same [i. e. He plunged, or threw himself, into the midst of fight, or conflict]. (TA in art. غمس.) [See also مُغَامِرٌ.]
2 And غامرهُ He engaged with him in fight, or conflict, not caring for death.
3 And غامر signifies also He contended in an altercation, or a dispute.
