Full Definition

مَجَلَّةٌ A صَحِيفَة [or book, volume, writing, or written paper or the like;] in which is science: and any book, or writing, is thus called by the Arabs; as, for instance, that of Lukmán, and one of poetry: and so in the phrase used by En-Nábighah مَجَلَّتُهُمْ ذَاتُ الإِلٰهِ [Their book is that of God]: or, as some recite it, he said مَحَلَّتُهُمْ, with حاء, meaning, their abode is one of pilgrimage and of sacred sites. See جُلٌّ
