Full Definition
2 The phrase الحُدُودُ تَنْدَرِئُ بِالشُّبُهَاتِ [The prescribed castigations shall be, or are to be, averted, or deferred, on account of dubious circumstances,] is agreeable with analogy, but has not been heard [from the Arabs of classical times].
3 اندرأ الحَرِيقُ The fire [of a burning house &c.] spread, and gave light, shone, was bright, or shone brightly.
