ابتركVIII
He threw his
بَرْك [i. e. breast upon the ground , or upon some other thing].
2 He leaned upon the polishing-instrument, on one side. And He inclined on one side in his running.
3 He hastened, or sped, and strove, laboured, or exerted himself, in running: and بَرَكَ , Verbal.Noun بُرُوكٌ, or, as some say, this is a subst. from the former verb, He strove, laboured, or exerted himself.

5 ابترك فِى عِرْضِهِ, and عَلَيْهِ,
def.2 اِبْتَرَكْتُهُ I prostrated him, or threw him down prostrate, and put him beneath my بَرْك [i. e. breast].
