ارتمIV , Verbal.Noun إِرْتَامٌ, [app. He tied a رَتِيمَة, q. v.]. رَتْمٌ, also, as an Verbal.Noun, [i. e. of رَتَمَ ,] signifies The tying a thread, or string, upon one's own finger for the purpose of remembering something.
