انعتلVII
He was, or became, drawn along, or dragged, roughly, or violently: or i. q.
اِنْقَادَ [he suffered himself to be led, &c.].
2 And لَا أَنْعَتِلُ مَعَكَ; or لا مَعَكَ, from ; I will not quit my place with thee; and will not come with thee. And لَا أَنْعَتِلُ مَعَكَ شِبْرًا, thus in the handwriting of J in one of the copies [of the S, or may be the correct word], I will not come with thee [a span].
