Full Definition

بَاضِعَةٌ A wound by which the head is broken, which cuts the skin, and cleaves the flesh in a slight degree, and brings blood, but does not make it to flow: or which wounds the skin, and cleaves the flesh: or which cleaves the flesh, but does not reach to the bone, nor cause the blood to flow: that from which the blood flows is termed دَامِيَةٌ [app. a mistake for دَامِعَةٌ].

def.2 A large flock (فِرْقٌ [in the CK, erroneously, فِرَق,]) of sheep or goats: or a portion separated from the rest of the sheep or goats: pl. بَوَاضِعُ: you say, فِرَقٌ بَوَاضِعُ.
