بِضَاعَةٌ Merchandise; or an article of merchandise; a portion of one's property which one sends for traffic; a portion of property prepared for traffic, or with which one traffics; from بَضْعٌ signifying the act of “cutting,” or “cutting off;” and vulgarly pronounced بُضَاعَةٌ: pl. بَضَائِعُ.
