تبسّرV : see 1, in four places. It signifies also He sought for, or after, fresh water recently produced by rain. (S. [See بُسْرٌ.]) And He dug for plants before they came forth: [or] تبسّر نَبَاتًا has this meaning. And He came to the roots of dry plants, and ate them.
