2 تجنّن عَلَيْهِ, and , and تَجَانَّ , He feigned himself مَجْنُون [i. e. possessed by a جِنِّىّ, or by جِنّ; and hence generally meaning bereft of reason; or mad, insane, &c.;] to him; not being really so.
