تَرَاجَعَ: [or nearly so; inasmuch as each implies repetition in returning:] you say, ترادّوا فِى مَسِيرٍ, meaning تَرَاجَعُوا [i. e. They returned, retired, or retreated, by degrees, or by little and little, in a journey, or march]. (TA in art. ثبجر.) And ترادّ المَآءُ
