Full Definition

تصرّعV He became lowly, humble, or abased, and abashed, to him; as also تضرّع: or he lowered, humbled, or abased, himself to him: one says, مَا زِلْتُ أَتَصَرَّعُ لَهُ and إِلَيْهِ [I ceased not to lower, humble, or abase, myself to him] حَتَّى أَجَابَنِى [until he answered me, or gave me his assent].
