ثُنْيَانٌ

Full Definition

ثُنْيَانٌ The second chief; the person who comes second as a chief; the person who is [next] below the سَيِّد, (S, M, K, [in some copies of the K, erroneously, سيل,]) in rank; as also ثِنًى and ثُنًى and ثِنْىٌ : pl. ثِنْيَةٌ [which is also a sing., mentioned above]. [See an ex. in a verse cited voce بَدْءٌ.]
2 A man having no judgment nor intelligence, or understanding.
3 Applied to judgment, or an opinion, Wrong, or having a wrong tendency; bad, corrupt, unsound, or wrong.
