Full Definition

حُجْرَةٌ An enclosure (حَظِيرَةٌ) for camels.
2 [And hence,] The حُجْرَة of a house; [i. e.] a chamber [in an absolute sense, and so in the present day]; syn. بَيْتٌ: or an upper chamber; syn. غُرْفَةٌ: pl. حُجَرٌ and حُجُرَاتٌ and حُجَرَاتٌ and حُجْرَاتٌ.
