حِلَّةٌ A mode, or manner, of حُلُول [i. e. alighting, taking up one's abode, lodging, or settling].
2 See also حَالٌّ, in three places.
3 And see مَحَلٌّ, in two places.
4 Also A collection of بُيُوت [i. e. tents, or houses,] of men; as also مَحَلَّةٌ : or a hundred thereof, and more: pl. حِلَالٌ.
5 A sitting-place, or the people thereof; syn. مَجْلِسٌ: [or] a place of assembly: pl. as above.
