دَفُوعٌ
and
مِدْفَعٌ [That impels, pushes, thrusts, drives, propels, or repels, much, or vehemently:] both signify the same. Hence the saying of a woman, an immodest woman, namely, Sejáhi [the false prophetess, to her husband the false prophet Museylimeh, describing the kind of ذَكَر which she most approved], لَا بَلْ قَصِيرٌ مِدْفَعٌ . You say also, رَجُلٌ دَفَّاعٌ
A man who impels, propels, repels, or defends, vehemently. And نَاقَةٌ دَفُوعٌ
A she-camel that hicks (تَدْفَعُ) with her hind leg on being milked.
